Do It A’GInn Event Hall is owned by Kevin Ginn, Sr. who was born and raised in the Midtown area of St. Joseph, MO where the building is located. Located on Messanie Street, the main strip in the area, the hall has been there since 1900! The building has seen several owners operate it as a bar over the years, and Kevin’s goal was to do something completely different and family oriented.The building is a long standing staple in the ommunity and after sitting unoccupied for several years,  the opportunity presented itself, and Kevin purchased the building on the Tax Auction list for unpaid taxes.

Kevins Background: Kevin received his Associates Degree in Electrical Technology from Vatterott College, and is certified in HVAC and Plumbing. Kevin is a self-employed contractor with over 20 years of experience in the St. Joseph area.

Goals: Kevin aims to bring the building back to life to provide a safe, family-friendly atmosphere and event space, somethng that is missing in Midtown. His hope is for a positive impact in the community to help eliminate the negative stigma about the Midtown area. He also hopes to create a lasting legacy for his children and grandchildren, that has a long-term, positive impact within the St. Joseph community.
